I’m Laughing Without Fear Of The Future

She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25

What an awesome verse for the first Sunday of 2018. It’s a new year. As optimistic as any of us may be as we begin it, reality is none of us know what the year holds. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but reality is this may be a difficult year for you. No matter what it’s like we will all experience some ups and downs. That would be the case for the woman spoken of in Proverbs as well. Yet, when you know that your Father is always with you there’s nothing to fear.

Someone may say to you, “But you may lose your job this year.” That’s something to laugh at when you know your God will supply all your needs.

“But what if you get sick this year?” Cause for laughter when you know your God is a healer and he never leaves you nor forsakes you.

“What if someone lies about you, and falsely accuses you?” LOL! No weapon formed against me will prosper.

“Things could go really bad!” ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ All Things work together for good for those who love God.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

None of us know what 2018 holds, but we know who holds us. And Jesus tells us in John 10:29, “no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.”

I’m laughing at 2018. I hope you are as well. Let’s stay faithful to a God this year who has it covered.

A cheerful heart is good medicine.” Proverbs 17:22
